It is the only Reference Laboratory to be awarded an accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The CAP is globally renowned, as the gold standard for medical laboratory accreditation. LHD, Sri Lanka’s first ever Reference Laboratory offers more than 1100, routine and high-end laboratory tests, some of which have been introduced for the first time in Sri Lanka, using the most advanced state-of-the-art technology supported by highly skilled personnel. Established in 2014, LHD is a fully owned subsidiary of Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC.
