“If it was easy, everyone could do it”says Robert Crittendon, a management expert in his famous book,”The New Manager’s Starter Kit”.
He presents a code of conduct for managers as follows:
1. Don’t say things about someone behind his back that you wouldn’t say to his face.
2. Maintain absolute integrity in all things at all time.
3. Praise in public, criticize in private.
4. Treat your word as your bond , and keep every promise you make.
5. Accept responsibility for your actions.
6. Accept the fact that success is not final and failure is not fatal.
7. Don’t be afraid of making a mistake , but never repeat the same mistakes.
8. If you need professional advice get it from professionals not from friends.
