CIPM Standing Committee on Applied Research and Knowledge Centre successfully conducted its annual research symposium on 2nd July 2021 as an international event under the theme “Global Crises and Future of Work” with more than 400 participants.
This symposium’s published conference proceedings with over 500 pages, included 47 research papers, a case study book with success stories of seven leading companies during the pandemic and the Journal of HRM Perspectives of CIPM.
The event was enlightened by several well-known HRM practitioners, academics, national and international HRM researchers and CIPM EXCO. The 5th CIPM International Research Symposium on HRM 2021 has turned a new page in CIPM/IPM history during the pandemic by adding colours to the scholarly world. It was a collective effort by the research committee lead by Prof. Prasadini Gamage, Chairperson of the symposium.
The Symposium comprised the Inaugural Session, Panel Discussion, Technical Sessions under Seven Tracks, Case Study Session and Valedictory Session.
Senior Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Chairman, University Grants Commission, Sri Lanka was invited as Chief Guest and Dr. Aquil Busrai, CEO, Aquil Busrai Consulting, India was the Keynote Speaker.
